1,000 years
I haven’t posted in forever. Why? I’ve been away from the computer for great lengths of time. It’s been good. I wasn’t in a rush to get back to the laptop to tell you the truth, but I sat down today and I’ve done the cliche knuckle crack and here we are.
I went to the beach last week. Oak Island, NC to be exact. Never been there before. Very nice. Very relaxing. Monday morning I got up and changed the oil on my motorcycle and hopped on and rode four plus hours to the shore. The surf was high and I ran along the beach and swam in the surprisingly warm water. Wednesday I met up with my friends Tim and Julie down at Myrtle Beach Bike Week. Rode all day with thousands of other bikers. Got to check out bikes built by Billy Lane and many others.
Look. Here’s a bird.

I headed out to Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach on Thursday and headed home on Friday. Weather held out even though the forecast called for rain, and the cops were chasing other baddies and crooks, so my bike whisked me home at an average of 90 mph. A lovely ride.
I’m back and I’m at the easel after getting up early and going to my first yoga class in over six months. Charlotte People: For the entire month of May, 8 am classes are free at Yoga One so get your ass up and go. Come contort and sweat your ass off with me. I’m going to try to hit as many as possible. It’s too good of a deal to not go.
I was taking photos of the various things I’m working on for today’s long-delayed blog and my camera battery shat out on me, so here, look at this one photo of that huge painting of Charlotte I started a while back. I finally bought a big T-square to get my buildings cracking and I’m very excited about this one again. Thank god.

Commission updates tomorrow when my camera is back in business.
Namaste, duders.
