Well this week has been cool. On Wednesday I brought some work over to the Green Rice Gallery and as a result I’ve got tons of stuff to do.

Starting today.

Around 6:30 I’ll be heading out to paint live at the annual bike ride 24 Hours of Booty.

There’s a 3 mile route in a very nice section of Charlotte that cyclists call the Booty Loop. No idea why, but it has a nice ring to it. Either way I’ll be there with a handful of other artists setting up easels and painting in the sun. Never done that before that I can remember. Kind of scary, kind of exciting.

I’ll be back again on Saturday to pick up wherever I leave off as well.

If you’re in Charlotte come down and say hi. I’ll be wearing a beret and little spectacles.
