Ostentatious and loud, animal prints are a big feature on the runways of Fall/Winter 2018, with Tom Ford, Zadig & Voltaire and R13 showcasing these fierce patterns in bright hues. From vermilion, to neon orange and lemon tones, the new animal print is one that you just can’t miss.

But how do you style the look? Our rule of thumb: Don’t be afraid to pair them with different sorts of patterns (stripes, geometrics, florals). The look is very intense, but can still be ultra-wearable. Are you daring enough to dabble in animal prints? Keep scrolling for looks you can take your cues from.

Leopard

Animal prints are perfect for the career woman, as they’re classic enough for conservative settings, but interesting enough to keep you stylish. But keep everything sharp. Wear a leopard print skirt with a blazer (be brave and go with a checkered jacket that matches the tones of the skirt) and a neat pair of heels.

Zebra

We love a pant for this pattern, but selected a nude-orange hue so the print is less in-your-face. Complementary colours are the way to go here. To make this look pulled-together, we picked a shirt and bag in the same colour spectrum.

Tiger

Are you lounging by the pool on a warm Sunday with mimosas on tap? This is a setting where you can go bright and bold, and there’s no other print but tiger for it. The yellow tiger-print skirt paired with a yellow bikini and super accessories will make you feel like one of the wealthy Real Housewives.
