Ginger at Parkroyal on Beach Road has joined hands with Nasi Kandar Jamal Mohamed from Penang, Malaysia to present the Flavours of ‘Curry & Tradition: A Nasi Kandar Affair’ buffet line-up, which showcases dishes from the popular northern Malaysian cuisine.

Pile your plate with nasi minyak, fragrant teamed ghee rice that’s usually enjoyed with a medley of curries. Signatures for the meats include Ayam Goreng fried chicken, Daging Masak Kicap (a house signature of beef brisket cooked with dark soy sauce), Perut Kambing lamb tripe curry, and Kambing Shank lamb shank curry simmered in a rich, spiced kuah gravy.

Atrium Restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium

Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium is inviting guests to embark on a rustic kampong-style feast at its halal-certified Atrium Restaurant.

Eat your way through the likes of oxtail soup, terong sambal balado (eggplant & vegetables), lemak siput sedut (mud snails in coconut gravy), stir-fried sotong with sambal hijau, ayam masak merah kerisik, paru belado (fried beef lungs in red chili sambal), cucur udang (prawn fritters), and more. Save room for dessert with kuih bahulu, bingka serikaya (nyonya kuih), goreng pisang, and other sweet or savoury treats.

That’s not all. The popular beloved Ramadan barbecue feast that was introduced last year is making a return. Think otah-otah, honey chicken wings, sambal squid, and grilled
lamb chop. There’s also whole baby lamb (weekends only) as well as roast lamb leg and roast beef ribeye (weekdays only).

Days Hotel by Wyndham Singapore at Zhongshan Park’s 21 On Rajah has a Ramadan buffet spread to satisfy your rumbling tummy. Start with seafood on ice (Yabbies! Snow crab legs! Scallops on shell!), the salad bar, and sashimi. Then dive into nostalgic flavours with dishes like the kerabu salad, ayam pangang, ayam bakar Taliwang, and more.

The star of the show is the 21 on Rajah Ramadan special – the sumptuous Roasted Whole Baby Lamb with a side of Moroccan spice yoghurt and basmati rice. Also not to be missed is the traditional Iftar rice porridge Bubur Lambuk, created just for Eid Mubarak, as well as the hefty Roasted Beef Short Ribs with Homemade Spice and Rosemary.

During weekends, diners can look forward to the Weekend Dinner Grilled Station, which will send out grilled tiger prawns, smoked sea salt lamb chops, Italian lamb sausages, and chicken and mutton satay.

The restaurant also has separate male and female prayer rooms that come with attached bathrooms on its premises.

Four Points by Sheraton Singapore, Riverview’s Iftar Buffet is back for its second year.

Held at the Level 3 Robertson room, you can look forward to a spread of traditional and contemporary halal dishes concocted by Chef Khalid, the hotel’s sous chef. You’ll be sampling chef Khalid’s take on local delights, from the ubiquitous chilli crab, to mutton rendang and a Bombay-style fish curry.

Cap off your meal with tempting options at the dessert table, which comes with a chendol station, assorted cakes and Nonya Kueh, as well as Four Points Singapore’s signature durian puree.

There is a dedicated prayer room on level five for both hotel and dining guests.

From Mar 1 to 31, there’ll be a weekly giveaway on the hotel’s social media platforms. Each week, one winner will receive a dining voucher for two for the Iftar Buffet experience. Keep an eye on their socials every Sunday (Mar 10, 17, 24, and 31), where the winner will be announced.

Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant

If you’re in the mood for Indonesian food, Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant, which has served up delicious Indonesian food since 1985, is your place.

Eat your way through the hearty spread with mouthwatering crowd favourites like beef rendang, semur daging (beef stew), krensengan kambing (spiced mutton) and ayam penyet (spicy smashed fried chicken).Seafood lovers, make a beeline for the likes of salted egg crab, baked mussels with garlic cheese, and sambal udang karang (slipper lobster).

Finish off with traditional desserts like pulut durian pengat, cendol and various kueh.

There’s also a prayer room outside the restaurant for Muslim guests to perform their prayers.

You’re in for a gastronomic affair at the halal-certified Carousel, which serves over a whopping 100 dishes across various cuisines, from Mediterranean to Korean, Indian and local delights.

Those breaking fast at the restaurant can look forward to the Heritage Flavours dinner menu, and fill your bellies with lots of local favourites.

Prime your bellies with petite bites like Hoisin Smoked Duck Breast and Laksa Marinated Chicken Salad with Crispy Tau Pok, then swing by the kueh pie tee, chicken rice or laksa stations.

Or go straight for mains, with dishes across categories like Asian Selection (think chilli crab, carrot cake and salted egg yolk prawn), Malay Delicacies (slow-braised beef rendang, ayam pangang and udang bakar kichap), and the Tandoori Oven with fish tikka and kebabs.
