How to style biker jackets like the cool kids

If you’re a fan of ’70s music legends like Blondie, Sex Pistols and Joan Jett, as well as '90s supermodel Kate Moss, you’d be happy to know that one of their many enduring wardrobe staples – the biker jacket – is back after a long break from the catwalks.

In the hands of Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton, it was paired with a frou-frou tulle skirt and heavy-duty work boots – a look synonymous with London’s underground punk movement. Simone Rocha’s version, however, is the opposite of punk, as she gave the jacket a girlie update with puffy sleeves.

Pro tip: Avoid wearing it with skinny jeans – a baggier, more loose-fit silhouette is the way to go.
