Together with fashion insiders from across South-east Asia, we take a deep dive into Fall/Winter 2024 top trends to curate this shopping list just for you

Fashion editor Lena Kamarudin spoke to one of the Phillipines most renowned celebrity stylist Liz Uy on her favourite trends from the Fall/Winter 2024 season and what she’s looking to buy. Both Liz and Lena also provided some expert tips on how to work these trends with some stylish visual inspiration as your guide.

We envision a charming lass in the countryside, far from the drama of city life, dressed in tweeds, herringbones, and argyles – though in more abstract patterns. If she had an inclination towards floral prints, they’d be less pretty and more gritty. We particularly love Erdem’s take on merging both herringbone and floral patterns in a printed skirt suit.

Building on the basics

You’ve got your classic wardrobe of shirts, sweaters, wide-legged trousers, turtlenecks, and blazers in every style – you get the picture. Now, designers are reimagining the basics by pairing them with other basics – a leather shirt worn over a regular shirt and paired with a midi skirt, for instance. Matthieu Blazy of Bottega Veneta is a master of this approach. Or take inspiration from Pieter Mulier at Alaia, who kept things simple with the brand’s signature knit top, but paired it with balloon- style jeans – a classic wardrobe staple with an unconventional twist.
