Besides travelling, shopping and queuing up for things, Singaporeans love food. Of course. From chocolate chip cookies to hip, fusion food, if it’s tasty, you can be sure we’ll go for it. 

Over the long weekend, we saw many celebrities savouring delectable food to celebrate National Day, ranging from local delights to National Day-inspired desserts.

Kym Ng enjoyed a national flag-inspired chiffon cake. Cheryl Wee had cute and uniquely Singapore cupcakes (one of which looked like a TraceTogether token). And Chen Hanwei satisfied his craving for — wait for it — durians
