With Lunar New Year right around the corner, there is no better time than now – so you can snag some discounts – to place your orders for these tasty Chinese New Year snacks to welcome friends and family when they visit. But if the situation doesn’t allow for meetups, you can send these goodies in the form of bundles and hampers to your loved ones, to wish them prosperity and good fortune for the Year of the Tiger.

The homegrown company has come a long way since its beginnings in 1997, faithfully churning out their Lunar New Year goodies such as Pineapple Tarts, Chicken Floss Rolls, and Coconut Love Letters year after year.
This year, Home’s Favourite has created the Blissful Prosperity MSW Durian Kumquat ($33.80 for 8 pieces) – a thin layer of pastry skin encasing a generous amount of Mao Shan Wang Durian paste.

Kele x Gryphon Golden Osmanthus Golden Osmanthus Pineapple Tarts, $36.80 for 700g tin
After the brand won a local shopping mall’s “Best Pineapple Tart” competition in 2013, Kele has not looked back since.
This year, Kele has teamed up with Gryphon, a local tea purveyor, to create the Kele x Gryphon Golden Osmanthus Bundle Set, featuring a 700g tin of Golden Osmanthus Pineapple Tarts ($36.80), 50g Golden Osmanthus Tea ($32) and a specially designed Kele x Gryphon Onigiri Bag worth $18.90.

Local artisanal bakery Baker’s Brew made F&B waves last year for creating Singapore’s first Coriander Cake, but it’s a good thing their Lunar New Year offerings are more tapered down.
Their ondeh ondeh cookies ($27.80 for 300g) are their bestseller. Made with pandan-infused dough and rolled with a generous amount of gula melaka coconut filling, these flavourful balls are quite irresistible. It comes packaged in a collectible green tin featuring a fortune cat and firecrackers.
These can also be purchased as part of a bundle of five ($128), with the other cookies including Pineapple Pillows, Hae Bee Hiam Cookies, Pineapple Bak Kwa Cookies, and Peanut Almond Cookies – each housed in a differently-designed paw-some tin.

Usher in the Lunar New Year by munching on this third-generation family business’ latest seasonal offering, Nana’s Treats Nonya Prawn Rolls.

Gourmet snack company The Golden Duck has teamed up with Singapore-based restaurant group Paradise this year, to launch two limited-edition fish skin snacks – Yu Sheng Fish Skin Crisps and Sweet and Sour Fish Skin Crisps.
The Yu Sheng Fish Skin Crisps are said to emulate the multi-layered taste of the yusheng dish, where the sweet and tangy note of the plum sauce, and a nutty aroma can be tasted in one bite. The eponymous confectionery brand by award-winning dessert maestro Janice Wong has unveiled a limited-edition Lunar New Year bounty of edible, mouth-watering treasures.
