Church and state

I always said I’d love to work from home, and since I quit my full time soul-sucker of a job in September ‘07, I pretty much have. Thing is though, it’s nice to have a separation of job and home. They start to blend and you start to wish you had a studio to work in that was a little ways down the road. Not a 40 minute commute or anything, but just a little jaunt to get you up and moving. Some place you could close the door on at the end of the day. Two refuges complimenting each other rather than one big wacky treehouse where you do everything. Hell, I find myself kind of psyched to go grocery shopping because it gets me out of the house for a while.

Anyone know anything about squatting? Squatter’s rights? Charlotte has a million square miles of beautifully shabby warehouse spaces. I’m gonna get me a studio, by god. It’s gonna be free.
