Constance Wu had a baby girl earlier this year and no one knew about it

The year 2020 has been big with surprise celebrity babies. From Nicki Minaj to Amanda Seyfried, these celebrities have taken to social media to flaunt their baby bumps, or better yet, their newborns. However, there are certain celebrities who have chosen to keep their pregnancies under wraps. The celebrity in question: Constance Wu.

The Crazy Rich Asian star, also known for her roles in Fresh Off The Boat and Hustlers, recently unveiled that she had a baby girl over the summer with boyfriend, Ryan Kattner.

After having been noticeably absent from social media in 2020, the star managed to keep her pregnancy a secret as a result. Her last Instagram post was shared only in May, and the profile now has declared itself a defunct account.

Considering how they've managed to dodge the voracious paparazzis for over the span of her pregnancy, Constance and Kattner did a great job at keeping things private over the last year. And one that was a great call for the couple.

According to an anonymous source who told E! News, “They are doing great, they’re so excited and happy.”

The 38-year-old actress has also been said to return as Rachel Chu in the upcoming Crazy Rich Asians sequel, alongside co-stars like Henry Golding. The film is under development. In a recent interview with Digital Spy, Henry Golding mentioned, "They've got the two books that Kevin Kwan wrote still to come and they're trying to find an angle to convert those from page to script to film."
