Fall in love with Gucci #FloraFantasy, their latest limited-edition beauty collection

Why do we fall back on floral fragrances time and again? The reason is quite simple: Our sense of smell is the strongest of all our five senses, one that is closely linked to memory and emotion. And with the reintroduction of Gucci Beauty’s Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia as an Eau de Parfum in 2021, the brand promises a sensory adventure, dubbed the #FloraFantasy journey. The Gorgeous Gardenia introduces one to a joyful – and almost ethereal – candy-pink wonderland surrounded by flowers and fluffy animals. The scent is a delicate blend of white gardenia heart, combined with solar jasmine grandiflorum absolute, a cheerful pear blossom accord, as well as a soft brown sugar accord.

This year, Gucci Beauty expands its #FloraFantasy collection with the Gorgeous Jasmine Eau de Parfum. While Gorgeous Gardenia uplifts with an irrepressible optimism, Gorgeous Jasmine envelops one in serenity and warmth. Here, grandiflorum jasmine takes centre stage, alongside bright mandarin essence and magnolia accord, paired with sensual sandalwood and benzoin. To complete your #FloraFantasy journey, Gucci Beauty has introduced a limited edition makeup collection inspired by the Flora Gorgeous fragrances, comprising the Gucci Palette Beaute Des Yeux Gorgeous Flora eyeshadow palette, and the Gucci Rouge De Beaute Brillant Flora lipstick.

The eyeshadow palette boasts 12 dreamy shades of pinks, blues and neutrals in satin, matte and metallic finishes, each delivering highly pigmented, buildable and long-wearing colour that can be layered together for endless creative combinations. This covetable palette also comes with a removable tray, which allows the possibility of repurposing its use.

Gucci Rouge De Beaute Brillant Flora contains a soothing balm while offering beautiful colour pay-off. With moisturising black rose, peony and jojoba seed oils, together with karite butter and hyaluronic acid, it leaves lips feeling soft, plump and oh-so-kissable. While it is only available in one shade – #208 They Met in Argentina – it is a warm rosewood with neutral hues of pink and coral to suit every skin tone.

Make your way down to the new Gucci Beauty boutique at Ion Orchard, which will open its doors at the end of October this year. A one-stop boutique for beauty enthusiasts, this is where you will find an extensive collection of the brand’s makeup bases, colours and fragrances.

One of the many highlights is the store’s highly stylish interiors, from its cherry-red wood floors and dusty pink furniture to the luminous mirrored tiles and video walls that display the latest beauty looks and campaigns. That’s not all. There are also one-of-a-kind Gucci games and e-boutique shopping features that you can enjoy via scanning a QR code on your phone, or through the interactive tablets found across the store.

The interactive fragrance bar is another must-see. There are different blends and inspirations to discover, and visitors can create their own customised scent through the art of fragrance layering. To top it off, there is even an engraving service where you can get monograms engraved on your Gucci Beauty purchases.
