Follow your favourite Asian celebrities’ alternate Instagram accounts
Get to see a different side of your favourite celebs

To the average social media user, a finsta, short for “fake Instagram”, also known as a burner account, could be just a safe online space where you can share rants, unedited selfies or simply content that feels a little more private.
But when it comes to celebrities, it’s a whole other ball game. One can only imagine what someone who is always in the spotlight would post on their private feed. But you don’t have to look too far—here are some celebrity accounts to check out to get to know your idols on a more personal level; pets, hobbies, and all.
1. Rosé Park
The thing with finstas is that they usually are meant to be low-key. Rosé Park doesn’t stick to this norm, instead tagging her burner account handle for fans to get dibs on exclusive content. The Instagram account @vampirehollie was public at first, but has since been made private at the time of this article.
This could add another layer to achieving “close friend” status with celebrities, by clicking follow on their private accounts and having that little feeling of anticipation after. We know we feel the same whenever any KATSEYE member accepts our follow request.
2. Jennie Kim
You probably know Jennie Kim from her various styles, as seen in her latest music video “Mantra”. But you get to see a more understated side in her second film photography account, where she documents her travels, with the occasional mirror selfie. Jennie’s last post dates back to January 2021, But that doesn’t stop her 4.5 million or so followers wondering if the account will ever make a comeback.
3. Bright Vachirawit Chivaaree
As the hashtag #brightisphotographernow suggests, Thai star Bright Vachirawit takes photography—and his second (or third, if you include his clothing brand) Instagram account @isawitbefore—very seriously. Follow for snaps of fellow Thai celebrities, his loved ones, and the occasional cat pic. His travel photos will definitely inspire you to take the trip out of the group chat.
4. Apo Nattawin Wattanagitiphat
Like Bright, Apo Nattawin’s alternate account is dedicated to scenery from his travels. Aptly called @apovision, the account lets you see the world through his lens. Filled with shots of nature, landscapes, and minimal portraits of people, Apo’s love for film is reflected through the composure of his shots; and we can’t wait for him to snap the next sunset.
5. Kim Taeyeon
When Taeyeon from Girls Generation isn’t performing, she’s busy being a dog mum. You’ll find loving photos of her dog Zero all over her second account. From customised birthday cakes to life-sized portraits of Zero, there’s no denying who Taeyeon’s best friend is.
6. Freen Sarocha
Another dog paw-rent is Freen Sarocha and her dapple dachshund, Fluffy. Her dog was born in May 2023, and came into Freen’s life about a year ago. The two share online milestones like Christmas, graduation and Halloween together where Fluffy is decked in various cute costumes. Next up: Valentine’s Day?
7. Choi Seung Cheol
@kkuma_coups is the beloved maltese of SEVENTEEN’s S.Coups, often termed “princess” by fans as she’s often spotted with a bow or clip, for that touch of demureness. He tends to update the account once a month, which is something to look forward to for both dog and SEVENTEEN stans.
8. Jeon Wonwoo
SEVENTEEN’s Wonwoo has his own film account, complete with scenery shot on 35mm. You can also check out his favourite songs through his highlights, and he manages to even sneak in some SEVENTEEN songs in for good measure.
9. Kang Seung Yoon
Celeb-photographer accounts sure are a thing. Kang Seung Yoon tries to mix this up by posting lo-fi retro-style videos among regular photos. His feed has it all: aesthetic beach shots, solo photobooth dates, and even camera hauls. You never know what you might get with Seung Yoon, and that’s the best part.
10. Kim Namjoon
Kim Namjoon’s, better known as RM of BTS, started his second account before the launch of his album, Right Place Wrong Person (or RPWP, hence the handle). There, you can find more candid moments and outtakes shot on film. Take it as a b-roll of his main account, and we love the insight it brings into the behind-the-scenes moments of his solo creative endeavours.
