Get silkier, healthier tresses: How stylist-approved moisture-locking hair dryer protects while it styles
Panasonic’s new range of hair dryers, with patented nanoe™ technology, delivers moisture while regulating temperature, giving you salon-quality care at home

Getting ready for work should be the least stressful part of your day. Yet every morning, you face that familiar challenge: precious minutes spent wrestling with the hair dryer that leaves your hair feeling dry and brittle – especially frustrating when you’ve invested in a recent colour or keratin treatment.
While you can’t arrive at the office with wet hair, daily heat styling comes at a cost. When used improperly – and without heat protection – frequent use of the hair dryer may lead to weakened hair shafts, which could cause dryness, brittleness and fade your colour.
Overdrying hair strips away its natural moisture and damages the protective cuticle layer, breaking down the hair’s protein structure. This combination of dehydration and structural damage makes hair brittle and prone to breakage, split ends and frizz.
Panasonic has come up with nanoe™ technology that helps dry hair while maintaining its moisture levels. Here’s how it helps keep hair looking shiny and healthy, even in our humid weather.
Improving overall hair health
The nanoe™ MOISTURE+ and Mineral technology delivers 18x more moisture, penetrating from the surface to the inner layers for deeply moisturised, healthy hair. *Compared to conventional nanoe™ model.
It’s equipped with intelligent sensors that prevent hair from overheating while protecting your scalp and skin through controlled temperature delivery – key factors to healthy, lustrous hair. The nanoe technology features in three new models which each serve a different purpose:
- EH-NA0J (flagship model): Made for coloured hair and dry scalp
- EH-NA9M: Targets dry scalp and dandruff issues
- EH-NA7M: Designed for dry hair
The EH-NA0J nanoe™ MOISTURE+ and Mineral Hair Dryer and EH-NA9M nanoe™ & Mineral Ion Hair Dryer come with several modes: Hot, cold, hot and cold alternating, hair tip care, scalp and skin mode. Scalp care provides a soothing 50 deg C airflow for comfort and nourishment, while skin care hydrates your skin for a soft, supple feel.
The dryers also feature a built-in sensor that monitors temperature and switches to cool air if the device gets too hot.
Great for styling and stylish to boot
The Panasonic nanoe™ is also an efficient hair dryer. Compared with earlier models of the brand’s range of nanoe™ hair dryers, the new versions come with improved airflow inside the main body. This means your hair gets dryer faster and minimises chances of overdrying and overheating, making it great for styling.
During Panasonic’s exclusive Experience nanoe™ Magic for Healthier Hair! workshop on November 15, 2024, at Hvala Takashimaya, hair stylists from Salon Flamingo got to test out the technology. They noted that while the airflow is strong, the hair dryer doesn’t dry out the hair excessively.
The nanoe™ MOISTURE+ and Mineral technology also boosts cuticle adhesion, which helps to prevent friction damage from brushing. Continued use will give you smooth, easily manageable hair.
The stylists also noted that the Panasonic nanoe hair dryers have a hot/cold function that regulates the temperature when drying hair so temperature is kept consistent and will not damage scalp and hair. According to the stylists, this balance also helps treatments absorb better into the hair. They also recommended using a natural brush while drying to improve shine and help seal the hair cuticles.
