Since Halloween is this Wednesday the majority of the festivities were held this past weekend. Twas a good time. My friend Clint bought a Borat thong on ebay and got the wig and mustache at a mall. He tried everything on and it just wasn’t working for him I guess, so of course I had to see how I looked decked out in Borat gear. Answer: disgusting.

Clint’s on the right and isn’t even in costume yet. That’s pretty much what he rocks on an average weekend.

There was no way I was leaving the house like this. Surprising, I know, but I just couldn’t do it.

I had planned on being Tommy Lee but the only wig I could find was this stupid curly Cher looking thing. I had fake tattoo sleeves and leather pants and all that but it still didn’t work. After everyone got ready and had their costumes straight, mine still sucked when my friend Corey stuck a top hat that he brought on my head and BAM… I was Slash. I grabbed my Les Paul for a photo op and then we headed out to this big party at a club downtown.

The party was at a place called Amos’. It was this big music venue that looked like an airplane hangar or something. There was 1 bartender for every 30 people so that sucked. I spent most of the time aimlessly walking around, gnawing an unlit cigarette and nursing beers. After most of my party left for some other bar I didn’t want to go to I boarded a party bus with my German roomate Stefan who had bagged himself an American girl. Shortly after getting to the house party I passed out in true Slash fashion on the lazy boy in some dude’s house with a flask in my hand. What a confusing morning it was. Thankfully Stefan snapped a picture before exacting the blitzkrieg on his woman.

All in all a fun time. I might try to get a GNR cover band going or something down here. Any excuse to don the top hat again. Oh yeah, you like my new boots? $50. Steal.
