As part of H&M’s latest conscious exclusive collection, the brand will be debuting two unique fabrics - cashmere and velvet. You might ask, what has these fabrics got to do with sustainable fashion? Well, the new conscious material - velvet - is made from recycled polyester and the cashmere is also recycled: Made from pre-consumer yarn that has been sorted, shredded and re-spun into cashmere. H&M takes plenty of initiative to keep its textile waste in check which is why the new velvet was made from a mix of recycled polyester as well as leftover ECONYL® from the previous collection. As rainy season sets in in Singapore, #OOTDs featuring cozy knitted sweaters and earthy shades will start popping up on your feed.
H&M’s collection features sweaters and blouses in dusty-rose and off-white, with the highlight of the collection featuring a sweeping full-length black coat with an oversized collar that you can wear on your next vacation.
