In this Instagram post, Rui En shared that her anti-ageing journey started at 16 with sunscreen and skincare thanks to the influence of her mother.

She added that due to her eczema and the increased sensitivity, she can't use the usual anti-ageing actives such as retinol, vitamin C and exfoliating acids and would also need to pay attention to the ingredients list when she shops for skincare.
