Fashion editor Lena Kamarudin spoke to Indonesian It girl - model & actress Luna Maya - on her favourite trends from the Fall/Winter 2024 season and what she’s looking to buy. Both Luna and Lena also provided some expert tips on how to work these trends with some stylish visual inspiration as your guide.

Boho Revival

New-gen boho girls Daisy Edgar-Jones and Suki Waterhouse have been serving up Seventies-inspired looks that are effortlessly pretty. On the runways, the joy of dressing in an artsy, laid-back way is evident in collections from Isabel Marant, Chloe, and Etro. If the ‘70s aesthetic has always been your vibe, this season will offer plenty of shopping choices.

I have always been a fan of Etro because I love the signature paisley prints of the house. I love mixing and matching my Etro pieces with my wardrobe staples.”

Invest in a good faux fur coat – whatever rocks your boat. But it is essential in pulling off this trend. Oh, and oversized shades!

The beautiful thing about the bohemian trend is how simple it is to pull off. All you need is a basic separate mixed with something printed or textured. Throw on some gold hoops and you’re all set!

Cut-out ruffled silk-crepon turtleneck blouse, $4,622, Chloe at Net-a-porter.com
I’m all for something that’s comfortable, and this fit is both dressy yet relaxed at the same time. I would pair this with knee-high boots.

Super-high platforms are a pretty key footwear for the boho trend, and it’s also a Gucci signature ever since Sabato de Sarno came on board as the brand’s new creative director.

Cute and coquette

Miuccia Prada is leading this trend with an array of shift dresses adorned with bows. But if bows aren’t your style, you can still channel coquette core with girly separates like bubble skirts, ruffled details, or classic tulle, as showcased by Coperni and Molly Godard.

I may not be a fan of the bows or tulle, but I am definitely a fan of the pastel colours.

Coperni Fall/Winter 2024
To be honest, the trend is too cute for me, but if I were to try it in small doses, this bow top with jeans and a pair of combat boots is stylish without trying too hard.

Cheeky and coquettish is the perfect pairing.
