Lightweight

I got on a scale yesterday and weighed myself. Take a guess at how much I weigh currently. I’d put a current photo up but I’m too lazy and everyone on the internet already knows what I look like scantily clad.

For some reason today my roommate asked me what I weigh. I told him. He made me get on the scale in disbelief. I still can’t believe it either.

I’m around 6′3″ and weigh 160.

Maybe it’s all the water weight you lose sweating during yoga? Maybe it’s cutting out booze, sugar and everything other than eggs, brown rice, chicken and vegetables for a week? Who knows. If I decided to take an MMA fight in the future I’d definitely fight at 155. A lightweight with my reach? Sweet. I’m a mutant.

I haven’t lost any strength however, so that’s good. I can still pull and push weight that I could when I weighed a lot more. I really don’t feel like I look so light. I think I look the same as I always have. Still, it’s alarming to weigh so little at this height.

If you want to drop 15 or more pounds in a hurry, eat a couple eggs for breakfast, something like a turkey sandwich with spinach and steamed broccoli for lunch, and mixed vegetables with a bowl of brown rice for dinner.

I have to go buy more eggs. I’m out.
