Add one spark to your style: Choose from the Miu Miu pieces carefully curated by Twice’s Momo

In the past few years at Miu Miu, Miuccia Prada has been serving hit after hit. There was that mini skirt, the bougie bag charms, the return of the ballet flats and the logo cashmere cardigan.
 
Her biggest winner, however, is setting the ball spinning with the tenniscore and collegiate-cool trend. One that has inspired the Miu Miu Holiday Collection, of which Momo from K-pop girl group Twice has picked out several of her favourite pieces for the Miu Miu Select project.

Created in May 2019, friends, celebrities and women of character are invited to personalise a wardrobe of their most-wanted pieces from a new season. Miu Miu Select items include ready-to-wear, bags, shoes, jewels and eyewear.

Celebrities like Chloë Sevigny, Alexa Chung, Adwoa Aboah and Singapore’s very own Yoyo Cao have all contributed their own take to Miu Miu Select. Joining them is Twice’s lead dancer who launched her curated pieces at the Miu Miu Aoyama store.
 
But in case fashion fiends and Once Jelly members – Twice’s overseas fans – are worried that Momo’s picks are limited to only Japan, fret not. The collection is also available at select store locations such as Kobe, Bangkok and Singapore as well as on the online store.

Rocking the pieces in Momo’s Miu Miu Select

Wondering what is in Momo’s Miu Miu Select collection? A plaid skirt festooned with beadings, boyish footwear like penny loafers and combat boots, a lady-like top handle bag, a twee velvet mini bag and friendship-esque summer camp jewellery – her picks are all Miu Miu classics. 

The plaid skirt can volley between work and play, while the top handle bag, also known as the Aventure, and the mini called the Wander can be toted or sassily carried.
 
Trust the 28-year-old to provide a masterclass with the latter.

As for the boyish footwear? You can put them to good use through the many milestones in your life.

But if you don’t have the feels – like what the Twice song suggests – then think of Momo’s selection as how the brand does. Iconic staples made to fashion an on-trend outfit for the holidays and, after the festivities, into a uniform for the everyday. 

Momo the fashion darling: You get me

Since joining the Italian marque’s ranks in June 2023, Momo has set the fashion world alight.
 
Her first Instagram post as its ambassador was to promote the popular Arcadie bag in Miu Miu’s iconic matelassé nappa leather. “Modern and cool,” says the caption on the post on Twice’s official Japan Instagram account – exactly what many would say about Momo when she’s decked out in Miu Miu.
 
At the brand’s Spring/Summer 2024 show in October 2023, she impressed everyone with a body-skimming little black dress and bejewelled platform boots.

In another Instagram post to promote the Arcadie in April 2024, she made the tricky latte dressing trend work, carrying the look off stylishly and effortlessly.

And who can forget how chic she looked when she wore a modernised take on the Canadian tuxedo to attend the Autumn/Winter 2024 show?

And while the collection is now available in the Miu Miu store at Paragon and online until Nov 17, just remember that it’s first come, first served with select ready-to-wear items coming with limited-edition signed tags by Momo herself.
