New K-beauty brand: Dr.G

The result of 33 dermatologists, 80 nurses and 100 aestheticians bringing together over 20 years and more than 1 million clinical experiences, DrG has become one of the most trusted K-beauty brands, winning awards over the years.

Launched in 1998, Dr.G is the brainchild of Dr Ahn Gun-young, CEO of Gowoonsesang Cosmetics, who was burnt by boiling milk when he was a young boy, which left a scar on his face. This accident would later fuel his passion to become a dermatologist and in turn create skincare solutions to help others achieve a healthy complexion.

And while there is a full range of products from sun care to body care and even base makeup available in South Korea, Singapore currently offers four of the brand’s more popular skincare ranges – R.E.D Blemish hydrates sensitive skin prone to breakouts, Aquasis keeps skin’s oil and water levels balanced, Hydra Intensive soothes and hydrates dry, ageing skin, and A-Clear is for blemish-prone skins, as well as a small selection of cleansers and sunscreens.
