13 nude lip glosses and hydrating lip oils for all skin tones

Nude lip glosses are so incredibly varied and versatile. You can find glosses with different levels of pigment, some with shimmer, sparkle, really intense shine levels, and also varying degrees of comfort. On one end of the spectrum, you might have a glossy liquid lip product so pigmented it might qualify as an opaque liquid lipstick. On the other, there are also lip oils that are incredibly comfortable and hydrating with the barest hint of colour to them.

There are two ways to wear most lip glosses. You can wear them on their own, or as a topcoat swiped over another shade of lipstick to give the latter more dimension and shine. It can be tough to find the perfect nude gloss for your skin tone, especially when it’s a more pigmented product, but we’ve done our best to round up lots of nude glosses, handily organised by the various skin tones they would flatter most.
