Rising sun

Nearly two years ago I did a painting of the Parliament building in Budapest, Hungary. Go check it out in the portfolio page. It’s the ridiculously elaborate building with the spires and the underlit balustrades and eaves and other terms that I’m using incorrectly. It was a damn good prep for this Disney/Celtics commission I’m working on currently. I’m having a very good time working on this one. A fun challenge.

I worked on the castle all morning and then walked around the corner to Fu’s Tattoos to see my friend and tattoo artist Matt Terry. There I finally got my other arm done.

Many people have sleeves, and nearly all of them that I know wish they hadn’t gotten so many. I’ve always thought that when all is said and done with my tattoos you won’t be able to see any if I have a short sleeve shirt on. I call it my “short sleeve yakuza” plan.

Speaking of Japan, being a lover of the rising sun aesthetic for years and years, I finally slapped one on meself.

Have a good weekend, all.

Next one will. This one is an Accept song. God I’m glad you still come by this site, old fighter.

It would be awesome if it said that, but seeing BTILC deals with the chinese and your tat is japanese, it wouldn’t make much sense.
