Luxury fashion retail company Club 21 has joined forces with the Singapore Committee for UN Women for a mission to end violence against women with its eighth annual flagship fashion donation initiative, Style it Forward. The initiative will include a charity sale dubbed “Buy To Save”, which features pre-loved designer clothing and accessories donated by generous souls – and you can be one of them.

Alternatively, you can help extend the lives of these designer pieces by purchasing one (or two) for yourself! The more the merrier when it comes to feel-good shopping, right? All proceeds will support UN Women’s local outreach campaign “Help Anna”, workshops for “Her Justice”, as well as support the UN Women Headquarters’ Safe Cities Programme in Manila, Philippines, so you won’t just be shopping for your own personal gratification – you’d be purchasing for a purpose.

According to Pia Bruce – the executive director of the Singapore Committee for UN Women – only two out of 10 women in Singapore report incidents of violence, a sorry statistic that makes it clear that this is an issue we shouldn’t tolerate and brush out of sight. Show your support at the Style it Forward initiative that will be taking place from October 6 to 9, 2016 at Hilton Singapore Shopping Gallery!
