After smashing its debut in 2023, the regional edition of the premier sneaker event, Sneaker Con, is returning to Singapore from February 22 to 23, 2025, at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre (Halls E & F).

Since that first event, the global sneaker scene has only grown more intense. The sneaker market is now valued at US$80.1 billion (S$110 billion) and is projected to reach US$101.7 billion (S$139 billion) by 2030, according to Research And Markets.

Sneaker designs and innovation are reaching new heights, collaborations are dropping non-stop, and lifestyle trends (like the running club craze) are making sneakers more coveted than ever. Footwear is also dominating the luxury e-commerce space, with Gen Z and Millennials leading the way with their sneaker purchases, according to a recent report by The NPD Group.

This year’s Sneaker Con SEA promises even more excitement for those chasing the freshest drops or hunting for serious grails, all under one roof. With over 200 vendors, you’ll find a selection of rare, limited-edition, and exclusive kicks, alongside the latest in streetwear, accessories, and apparel.

Visitors will also have the chance to flip, swap, or trade their heat with other sneakerheads, resellers, and streetwear lovers. Plus, there’s a team of experts on hand to authenticate your sneakers, so you can buy and sell with confidence. And to top it off, there’s a built-in skate park – adding to the overall vibe.

Singapore Press Holdings, Sneaker Con SEA’s official media partner, will also be part of the event. The Design Your Sneaker Competition, open to The Straits Times subscribers aged 16 to 25, offers participants the chance to showcase their creativity. The winner will take home $3,000 in cash and a pair of limited-edition kicks.

Some of the biggest names in the game will be on-site, including Steven Smith a.k.a. dad shoe extraordinaire, the mastermind behind iconic models for New Balance and Yeezy designs. He’ll be joined by Singapore’s own Mark Ong of SBTG. Look out for their exclusive panel, where they’ll delve deep into sneaker culture, design, and the future of the game.

Tickets for Sneaker Con SEA start at $35 for a one-day general admission, with $100 for an all-day premium ticket that includes early entry and limited-edition merchandise. For more information, visit the official website.
