Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin welcome their first child 

K-drama celebrity couple Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin are officially parents! The two, who tied the knot in March, welcomed their first child a baby boy on November 27. 

In a statement shared by Son Ye-jin’s agency MSteam Entertainment, they shared that both Son Ye-jin and the baby were in good health. 

Previously, it was revealed that Son Ye-jin was due in December but the actress gave birth earlier than expected. 

In an Instagram post that was posted earlier in July, Son Ye-jin penned a long message and announced her pregnancy. She wrote, “Today, I want to carefully share some joyful news. A new life has come to us… I’m still a bit dazed, but I am feeling changes in my body every day with concern and excitement~ As thankful as I am, I also feel that much cautious, so I haven’t even told anyone around me yet.“

She added, “I am sharing this news with fans and acquaintances who must have been waiting as much as us. We will make sure to protect the valuable life that has come to us~ I hope all of you will also protect what is valuable in your lives and live in good health... Be happy.” 

According to South Korean news outlet JTBC, Son Ye-jin is reportedly recovering at a postpartum care centre in Yeoksam, Seoul. Her beau, Hyun Bin, on the other hand, will also get to spend a month with his new family before he goes overseas in January next year to film a new movie for a month and a half.
