Max Tan
This label is for those who want to make an understated yet powerful fashion statement. With several high-profile runway shows under his belt, Max Tan has long established himself to be one of Singapore’s top designers. I love his collections because they are so clearly high-fashion made wearable for the everyday woman. His straight clean cuts are beautifully tailored and his fabrics are of high quality. Worth saving up for!
By Invite Only
This label is for the sophisticated lady looking for something whimsy and bohemian. Simple and rustic pieces of jewellery, usually encrusted with crystals, add a touch of elegance to any outfit. These pieces of jewellery will suit a work function as well as it would at a beach. These make for the perfect gifts, be it for your sister or for yourself.
In Good Company
This label is for the modern, busy woman. In Good Company makes minimalistic, classic pieces that boast surprising cuts and pops of colour, without going too crazy. Their clothes are simple and comfortable enough for you to run around town with. It’s interesting to know that In Good Company was originally a kidswear brand, hence the ‘Mini Me’ section of the website. This means that your tot can be a fashionista just like you, how cute!

Ladymojo
This label is for the trendy woman that doesn’t take herself too seriously. It was founded in 2012 by successful style blogger Melissa Celestine Koh, as a platform to feature her favourite fashion styles. Most of the apparels are casual and feminine, making it perfect for school or a day spent outdoors. With colourful, summery prints and light fabrics, her pieces are also perfect for Singapore’s tropical weather. Among all the labels listed here, Ladymojo has the safest options.

Sabrina Goh
This label is for those looking for fashion with an unconventional edge. Sabrina Goh’s label proves itself to be daring with its bold use of bright neon and metallic hues. Sabrina herself is a force to be reckoned with in local fashion; she was the winner of Elle Awards Singapore, Designer of the Year 2010, with her products stocked at several multi-label stores in the UK, New York, Korea and Singapore, just to name a few. What I like about her label is that it’s not restricted to just clothes, as it also carries a wide range of products like phone cases, bags, notebooks and even beauty products. All very fashionable, too, of course.
