Here’s the thing. Michelin-starred chefs and beauty brands are the most unlikely of collaborators, which is precisely why this pop-up dining event hosted at Four Seasons Hotel Singapore’s One-Ninety Restaurant ought to pique your curiosity.
L'Occitane, as any savvy HerWorldPLUS reader would know, hails from Provence, France – that breezy province that calls to mind sunlit lavender fields as far as your eyes can see...and amazing, rustic French food.
For chef Jerôme Roy, Provence – specifically, Restaurant Le Cloître at Le Couvent des Minimes – was where he bagged his first Michelin star last year, a feat pulled off by his imaginative use of Provençal ingredients.

So it's only fitting that chef Jerôme was invited to lend his culinary weight to L’Occitane’s multi-sensorial pop-up event, which is happening from now until March 19.
The menu for the event was curated with L’Occitane in mind. More than a handful of dishes make use of the same Provençal ingredients – think almond, lemon and lavender – that are also key components in the French marque’s beauty products. Talk about feeding your face!
In short, you’ll be feasting on some of the best-loved dishes from the Michelin-starred Le Cloître, without the fuss of flying.
Another thing: We’re happy to note that the dining options will please all budgets. There’s a Provençal-themed lunch semi-buffet that’s affordably priced at $46 per person, and at dinner, you can choose to either go a la carte or take up the $128 degustation menu.
Among the surprises chef Jerôme has lined up is a duck foie gras terrine paired with black and green olives, and cardamom-spiced caramelised apples; a roasted rack of lamb infused with lavender butter, accompanied by saffron cream and a chickpea-based crêpe; and “Lemon Cocktail”, a brilliant dessert showcasing various textures of lemon, from cake to custard to meringue to sorbet.
And of course, given that the L’Occitane brand is involved, there’s got to be some form of pampering. The brand is partnering Four Seasons Hotel Singapore to offer a one-day wellness package – the perfect opportunity to make-believe you’re on a rejuvenating spa holiday.
Start your tai-tai day with a massage treatment (from $199 for 60 minutes) or a facial ($299 for 90 minutes) using L’Occitane’s newly launched and memorably monikered Harmonie Divine skincare line, then feast on a three-course lunch by chef Jerôme. Oh yeah, and be sure to clear your schedule to make full use of your all-day access to spa facilities like the pool, steam room and outdoor jacuzzi.
If you’d rather hone your kitchen chops, sign up for chef Jerôme’s cooking demo ($80 per person), which will end off with a three-course lunch, as well as a short demonstration on shiatsu massage techniques by a l’Occitane spa trainer.
