TheFaceShop Drops An Absurdly Cute Skincare Range

TheFaceShop is known for super cute collaborations (including Kakao Friends) so it's not surprising that their new Forest Friends range is adorable.

The products are predicated on nature-sourced ingredients to serve three purposes: to protect you from damaging UV rays, shield the skin from external aggressors such as pollution, as well as eliminating impurities in the skin.

That’s all good for keeping the skin in optimal conditions (skincare is after all a continual process that constantly changes depending on many factors), but super-cute packaging with a meaningful message can’t hurt too – especially when they’re designed to mimic cuddly animals like a squirrel and rabbit and emblazoned with the message “Save The Forest”.

That is not all: shoppers who purchase the collection from now till Oct 31 get to enjoy 20 per cent off the collection when they shop at any of TheFaceShop’s stores and on its e-site.

Below, we highlight some of the products you need to know.

This SPF sounds like an ideal one for the local humid climate – reportedly waterproof and easy on the delicate skin around the eyes, it helps to prevent the absorption of fine dust that’s prevalent in polluted environments such as cities.

Acting as a setting/translucent powder, this cute compact helps to control sebum and mattify your complexion.

A “physical” sunscreen (one that uses inorganic filters such as zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide) that comes in a stick format, this sunscreen also contains additional soothing ingredients such as calamine – a gentle antiseptic that helps to relieve redness and stinging. FYI, physical sunscreens are generally recommended for those with sensitive skin, so if that’s you, this might be something you want to look up.
