The annual Chingay Parade is back this weekend. This year's theme, "Blossom," embodies the concepts of growth, transformation, and flourishing, symbolising not only individual development but also the unity and synergy of communities. The parade, set against the backdrop of the F1 track at the Pit Building, promises an immersive experience with interactive floor projections, engaging art activities, and a diverse array of art installations. Notably, the parade will feature blossom-themed art installations crafted from recycled materials, showcasing the creativity and eco-conscious efforts of students from various primary and secondary schools across Singapore.

Ice Cream Sundays Pop-up Party (24 February)

Party collective Ice Cream Sundays is bringing in Japanese DJ Monkey Timers for their first pop-up party of the year. The production duo have made a name for themselves as pioneers of Japan’s new dance music scene. As a matter of fact, their productions have garnered support from luminaries like Eric Duncan and Justin Van Der Volgen, while their infectious DJ sets have seen them rise in Tokyo’s thriving scene, earning them two Boiler Room appearances. Taking over Tanjong Pagar Distripark on Saturday, the event will be supported by the Ice Cream Sundays resident DJs Bongomann, Toppings, and Muto. Providing a fresh party experience, the event will also feature the collective’s onsite bar where you can get your refreshments and enjoy happy hour until 5pm, and get some grub from The Goodburger Food Truck which will also be pulling up to serve their meat-free but oh-so-delicious burgers and finger food throughout the day.

Whether you’re looking for a new spot to check out for a nightcap or you’re on the hunt for a place to catch up with the girls, 1-Group’s lineup of events is right up your alley. Boasting an extensive calendar of events from 24 February to 31 March, you can expect a series of bar tie-ups, guest shifts, parties and dining programmes, across eight of 1-Group’s venues. These locations include 1-Arden, 1-Altitude Coast, 1-Atico, The Alkaff Mansion, The Garage, The Riverhouse, The Summerhouse and Monti.

This weekend, The Riverhouse which houses Yin Bar and Yang Club, will be hosting a Hip-Hop and R&B party on Saturday, 24 February. DJ Kaylova will be helming the decks at Yin Bar before the afterparty at Yang where guests will be treated to special burlesque performances.

On the flipside, brunch lovers can indulge in the Arcane Brunch over at Monti from 25 February onwards or head over to 1-Altitude Coast from 24 February to enjoy 1-Altitude Coast’s new Brunch & Grill menu.

From 5 February to 7 March, Raffles Hotel Singapore presents a Chocolate Afternoon Tea at The Grand Lobby. As part of the experience, Executive Pastry Chef Tai Chien Lin offers a selection of gourmet chocolates from regions like the Dominican Republic and Belize, alongside classic finger sandwiches and homemade scones. Guests can enjoy the elegant setting with a choice of “Mariage Frères” loose tea leaves or Raffles signature custom-blended coffee beans, or you can even take it up a notch and opt for a glass of Billecart-Salmon Champagne that comes with complimentary handcrafted pastry.

Tipsy Flamingo has just unveiled its brand-new menu and it’s inspired by your favourite Spanish flavours. Think – a new selection of tapas like the Pan Con Tomate con Jamón Serrano, a classic dish featuring crusty bread topped with ripe tomatoes and thinly sliced Serrano ham; Crudo De Vieiras, prepared with Japanese scallops; or indulge in the robust and aromatic Gambas Al Ajillo, where plump prawns are sautéed in olive oil with garlic and a hint of red pepper flakes.

Held on the last Sunday of every month, Tipsy Flamingo will also be hosting its very own Champagne Brunch from 12pm to 3pm. Expect bottomless pours of Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut, perfectly complemented by tempting cheese platters, a DIY Caesar Salad station, and an array of delectable desserts.
