The long-awaited Formula One Grand Prix is back in Singapore and we couldn’t be more thrilled. With Singapore being its next pitstop in the F1 schedule, we can only imagine the excitement running through our veins. Will Max Verstappen take another win in Singapore? Or will we see an unexpected turn of events?

Aside from the fast cars that will be racing down our streets, the event will also bring about lots of concerts from your favourite artists like Kylie Minogue, Lenny Kravitz, Babymonster, and Honne, as well as other fringe activities and special dining deals.

To help you navigate your way through the list of activities, we’ve decided to gather some of the events that will be happening here on our little red dot this race weekend.

LEGO Technic Grand ‘Brix’ Pop-up Experience

Motorsport and LEGO fans are in for a treat. The LEGO Group’s new Grand ‘Brix’ Pop-up Experience in town lets you dive into the race season with hands-on building activities and thrilling speed challenges. The star of the show? A life-sized LEGO replica of the Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance model, where you can admire all the intricate details and craftsmanship up close.

In the lead-up to the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2024, visitors can challenge themselves at interactive stations, including a light reaction time test. You can also put your pit crew skills to the test by changing tyres on a LEGO vehicle as quickly as possible, or try to beat the fastest lap time in the F1 24 game where you can stand a chance to bring home the 42165 Mercedes-AMG F1 W14 E Performance Pull Back set.

Supercar Drive & Luncheon with JJ Lin & Purist Group

Purist Group will be hosting an exclusive experience filled with luxury and high-performance cars this Wednesday. The day begins at Millenia Walk, where attendees will get to check out 30 stunning supercars that are on display. Following the showcase, guests will embark on an escorted drive led by Purist Group founder and luxury car collector Sean Lee, alongside Singapore’s very own JJ Lin, a passionate car and racing enthusiast.

With Sean Lee’s philanthropic vision and JJ Lin behind the wheel of the latest Lamborghini Revuelto, guests will enjoy a scenic drive along Singapore’s coast and cityscape. The event will then culminate in a grand luncheon at Capella Singapore’s elegant Grand Ballroom, where guests can connect with fellow car aficionados over a luxurious 6-course meal, crafted by the hotel’s renowned chefs.

The Supercar Drive & Luncheon with JJ Lin & Purist Group will kick off at Millenia Walk and end at Capella Singapore.

Amber Lounge

Happening from the 21 to 22 September, Amber Lounge will be hosting its exclusive after-party over at The Clifford Pier at The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore. For the first in Singapore, the party at Amber Lounge will feature a luxury Nomad 65 ft Flybridge yacht activation on-site, adding a brand new dimension to this exclusive race afterparty. From 12 to 22 September 2024, Tommy Hilfiger is bringing the excitement of the Singapore Grand Prix to Raffles City with an exclusive Tommy X Mercedes-AMG F1 X Clarence Ruth Pop-up. Located on Level 1, this pop-up showcases a bold fusion of fashion and motorsports with the latest capsule collection.

Visitors can also test their speed and reflexes in a Formula One™ reaction game, offering a taste of what it’s like to be behind the wheel.

The highlight of the launch event on 19 September will be an appearance by Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1™ driver and Tommy Hilfiger Global Brand Ambassador, George Russell, at 2pm.

Pints and Pitstops: GPSS Pub Crawl edition

It’s lights out and away we go! Whether you’re a fan of the race or you’re just there to soak in the atmosphere, the highly anticipated Singapore Night race is definitely not one to miss. Starting this Friday, 20 September, the drivers will be kick-starting the race by going for their practice rounds, before their qualifying rounds on Saturday. The main event takes place on Sunday, where drivers will push their limits in a thrilling battle to claim a spot on the podium.

Aside from the exhilarating race, you can also expect to see the return of a star-studded entertainment lineup after the race who will be performing at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix Concert. Some of the headlining acts that will be taking centre stage over the weekend include Kylie Minogue, Lenny Kravitz, HONNE, Disclosure as well as OneRepublic.

Haven’t had your fill of partying? Marquee Singapore will be hosting international acts like Afrojack and Axwell over the weekend at the nightclub on 20 and 21 September respectively.
