The top female CEO in SG makes $12 million - plus the salaries of other CEOs revealed

While some find it taboo to talk about salaries, others think transparency can increase your negotiating power in the workplace. Regardless of which camp you’re from, it’s a known fact that CEOs of major companies earn big bucks — about $13,750 to $16,250 each month, as reported by Job Street in 2025.
But when we shift our focus to those in the C-suite big leagues, there’s an even more shocking revelation: they’re raking in millions of dollars. If you’re wondering how much exactly, we’ve compiled a list of the top-paid CEOs in Singapore and their salary as motivation for your next raise.
While women may only make up about 11.9% of the number of CEOs in Singapore, it’s clear that their financial success and impact on the world cannot be underestimated.

Female CEOs
OCBC CEO: Helen Wong, $12.1 million
Ms Helen Wong, the CEO of OCBC Bank, took home $12.1 million in 2023. She started her career as a management trainee at OCBC in 1984. After almost four decades in finance, she became the first woman to run a Singaporean bank when she was named CEO of OCBC in 2021.
DBS Deputy CEO: Tan Shu Shan, $6 million
Ms Tan Shu Shan, 56, is set to be DBS Bank’s first female CEO when current CEO Piyush Gupta retires in March this year.
She served as a Nominated Member of Parliament in Singapore from 2012 to 2014 and was nominated as a “Top 25 emergent Asian Woman Business Leader” by Forbes Magazine in 2018.
Ms Tan, whose first internship as a university student was also at DBS, has an estimated salary of $6 million, according to Social Equality.
Male CEOs
UOB CEO: Wee Ee Cheong, $15.9 million
Billionaire businessman and banker Wee Ee Cheong has been CEO of UOB for 18 years, since 2007.
With an estimated net worth of US$2.1 billion, his annual pay for 2024 came in at $15.9 million.
Wilmar International CEO: Kuok Khoon Hong, $13.4 million
Wilmar International is the world’s largest palm oil trader. Last year, its co-founder, chairman, and CEO, Mr Kuok Khoon Hong, earned $13.4 million.
DBS CEO: Piyush Gupta, $11.2 million
As mentioned, Mr Piyush Gupta has announced that he will be stepping down from his position as CEO of DBS Bank to retire in March this year. He has been at the helm of DBS for 15 years and received a salary of $11.2 million last year.
SIA CEO: Goh Choon Phong, $8.1 million
In 2024, Mr Goh Choon Phong, who became CEO of Singapore Airlines in 2011, was paid $8.1 million. This was a $1.4 million increase from his earnings in 2023.
Singtel Group CEO: Yuen Kuan Moon, $3.3 million
Mr Yuen Kuan Moon has been the Group CEO of Singtel since 2021 and earned $3.3 million last year.
SATS CEO: Kerry Mok, $2.4 million
Mr Kerry Mok, who was appointed as President and CEO of SATS Group in 2021, took home a pay package of $2.4 million in 2024.
