There’s nothing like a classic box of chocolates to show love to your significant other — especially if said treats come from Le Chocolat Maxime Frederic at Louis Vuitton. The esteemed French fashion house recently opened a chocolaterie in Marina Bay Sands Singapore.
The opening of the chocolate atelier within the floating Louis Vuitton Island Maison at the shopping centre marks the brand’s international debut outside of French borders.
Expect chocolates bearing recognisable motifs from the luxury brand, handcrafted with quality ingredients and given a stamp of approval from Normandy-born pastry chef Maxime Frederic, whom the brand has been working with since 2022. That was the same year he received the prestigious Gault & Millau Guide’s Pastry Chef of the Year award.

Frederic also leads Le Chocolat Maxime Frederic at Louis Vuitton in the five-star Cheval Blanc Paris hotel, working closely with producers and ingredients to carve intricate chocolates that look just about as good as they taste.
His centrepiece creation is the Vivienne on Malle, featuring the brand’s Vivienne mascot on a classic Louis Vuitton trunk bearing its iconic monogram. And that’s not even the best part since the adorable mascot spins on its heels thanks to chocolate gear mechanisms powered by a turning chocolate key.

Other chocolate creations inspired by Louis Vuitton’s iconography include the Damier-shaped chocolate tablets, a monogram flower, a chocolate bar, and filled trunk tablets.
