Women of the Year 2025: Nominate inspirational women today!

For the past 65 years, Her World has championed Singapore women’s lives and victories. Established in 1991, the Her World Woman of the Year Award has become one of the nation’s most recognisable honours, featuring an illustrious roster of winners from a wide range of industries.

In 2024, Her World awarded Justice Judith Prakash, senior judge at the Supreme Court and Singapore’s pioneering judge of appeal. Past luminaries include Professor Jackie Ying (2023), founding director of the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology, and Ng Gim Choo (2022), founder and chairwoman of Etonhouse International Education Group.

Launched in 1999, the Her World Young Woman Achiever Award honours remarkable women aged 40 and under who push boundaries, achieve outstanding milestones, and inspire future generations.

Previous honourees, such as national sprinter Shanti Pereira (2024), lawyer, poet, and playwright Amanda Chong (2022), and Caecilia Chu (2023), co-founder of the fintech platform YouTrip, have served as inspiring role models within our community by embodying resilience and grit, as well as an innovative spirit.

Woman of the Year

The Her World Woman of the Year Award honours a visionary whose achievements have given rise to an everlasting change in the community.

● The candidate must represent and project the best of Singapore, at home or abroad.

● Her exceptional achievements must have made a broad impact on society or an industry.

● She should be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident. 

Young Woman Achiever

The Her World Young Woman Achiever Award recognises an accomplished young woman who is unafraid of challenging conventional limits. 

● The candidate should demonstrate the potential to attain an even higher level of success in her chosen field.

● She is 40 years old or below at the point of nomination.

● She should be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident.
